E’ ubicato nei sotterranei del Duomo di Ugento, un tempo usato come cimitero comunale. Ospita una ricca collezione di libri, paramenti sacri, reliquiari, tele un tempo custodite nella ex  Chiesa di Santa Filomena, statue in cartapesta e gesso. Degne di menzione sono la Pietà, scolpita nel legno con la tecnica del gesso policromato, e risalente al XVII secolo e l’antico fonte battesimale della Cattedrale, realizzato dalla famiglia del Balzo, signori di Ugento nel Quattrocento.

Diocesan Museum 

It is located in the basement of the Cathedral of Ugento, once used as a municipal cemetery. It houses a rich collection of books, vestments, reliquaries, paintings once kept in the former Church of Santa Filomena, statues in papier-maché and plaster. Worth mentioning are the Pietà, carved in wood with the technique of the chalk polychrome, dating back to the seventeenth century, and the ancient baptismal font of the Cathedral, commissioned by the family del Balzo, lords of Ugento in the fifteenth century.
